Ellsworth Eagles Fly Past Washington Academy 91-33 [STATS]

Trailing 13-10 at the end of the 1st Quarter, the Ellsworth Girl's Basketball Team went on a 35-3 run in the 2nd Quarter and blew past the Washington Academy Raiders 91-33 in East Machias on Friday night, February 2nd.

Ellsworth led 72-26 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth had 9 players scoring on the night, with 5 players in double figures. They were led by Grace Jaffray with 20 points. Elizabeth Boles had 17 points. Abby Radel had 13 points, Kaylee Bagley scored 12 points and Addison Atherton had 10 points. The Eagles drained 9 3-pointers, with Boles leading the way with 4 3's. Bagley and Atherton each had 2 3's and Jaffray had 1 3-pointer. Ellsworth was 10-18 from the free throw line.

Washington Academy was led by Chloe Kilton with 9 points. Reese Crosman had 6 points. The Raiders had 2 3-pointers with Kilton and Daneah Neptune-Milano each having 1 3-pointer. The Raiders were 9-16 from the free throw line.

Washington Academy is now 6-11 and will host John Bapst on Monday, February 5th in their final regular season game.
