Nomination papers are available for the Ellsworth City Council, School Board and Library Board from the City Clerk's Office on Friday, July 25th.

There are 3 City Council seats, 2 School Board and 1 Ellsworth Public Library Board seat available.

Interested citizens need to return nomination papers with 50 signatures no later than Friday, September 5th at 12:30 p.m.

Ellsworth City Hall is open Monday - Wednesday 8 to 5, Thursday 8 to 6:30 and Friday 8 to 12:30.

The 3 City Councilors whose terms are expiring are

  • Michelle Beal
  • Tammy Mote
  • Jon Stein

The 2 School Board members whose terms are expiring are

  • Beverly Sargent
  • Paul Markosian

The Ellsworth Public Library Board member whose terms are expiring is

  • Judith Lyles

All Councilors,  and School Board and Library School Board Members whose terms are expiring are eligible to run for reelection.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th.
