Ellsworth Cheering Wins Big East

The Big East Cheering Competition was held in Presque Isle on Saturday, January 20th.

After all the cheering, tumbling and stunts were finished, the Ellsworth High School Cheering Team finished 1st!

Hermon finished 2nd and Houlton finished 3rd.

Ellsworth is the defending Class B State Champion.

Up next are the Varsity League Championships at Stearns High School on Saturday, January 27th and then the Northern Maine Championships on Saturday, February 3rd. at Cony High School in Augusta, and then the State Championships on Saturday, February 10th at the Augusta Civic Center.
