Ellsworth Boy’s Soccer Beats Washington Academy 3-1

The Ellsworth Boy's Soccer Team beat Washington Academy 3-1 on Friday night, October 10th in East Machias.

Scoring for the Eagles were

• Eli Holler - 1 goal
• Eli Einhaus - 1 goal
• Porter Merrill - 1 goal
• Riley Smith - 2 assists
• Caleb Jordan - 1 assist

Cooper Mitchell was in goal for Ellsworth.

Ellsworth is now 7-3-2. The Eagles have 2 games remaining in the regular season. They play at home against Foxcroft Academy on Wednesday, October 15th on Senior Recognition Night at 6 p.m. and then close out the regular season at MDI on Tuesday, October 21st at 6 p.m.

Washington Academy is 3-8. They have 2 remaining game left, on Thursday, October 16th against Orono and then close out the regular season on Saturday, October 18th against Central.

In the JV Game, Ellsworth and Washington Academy played to a 1-1 draw.

Carter Crosthwaite  had the goal and  Brayden Pooler the assist. Ryder Montgomery and Brayden Pooler split time in goal for Ellsworth.
