The Ellsworth Boys Soccer Team defeated the John Bapst Crusaders 5-3 at the University of Maine on Tuesday, September 14th.

Ellsworth scored with just 2:29 elapsed, when Silas Montigny scored assisted by Cruz Coffin.

It was 2-0 less than 3 minutes later, at the 34:05 mark, when Luke Perry scored, assisted by Kal Laslie

John Bapst's Kyle Sidaway scored off of a direct kick, with 32:00 minutes left, when Kyle Sidaway scored.

The Crusaders evened the score with 12:02 remaining in the 1st Half, when Sidaway scored his 2nd goal of the game.

The score was 2-2 at the end of the 1st Half.

Ellsworth took the lead with 28:17 left in the 2nd Half, when Cruz Coffin scored, to make it 3-2.

Eamon MacDonald  made it 4-2 with a goal 5:17 later (23:00).

Ellsworth added an insurance goal when Kai Barrett scored, assisted by Luke Perry with 7:42 remaining in the game.

John Bapst's Jon Pangburn scored on a penalty kick, with 1:24 left in the game.

Ellsworth is now 1-1-1 and will play host to GSA on Wednesday, September 22nd at 6 p.m.

John Bapst is 2-1-0 and will play host to Presque Isle on Tuesday, September 21st.
