Ellsworth Boys Soccer Defeat Caribou 5-1

The Ellsworth Boys Soccer Team defeated Caibou 5-1 in the rain Thursday afternoon, September 30th at Del Luce Stadium

The game was scoreless until very late in the 1st Half. With 5:58 remaining Koa Barrett scored the 1st goal of the game for the Eagles, assisted by Darren Easler

Just before the end of the 1st Half,  with 1:50 remaining Cruz Coffin gave Ellsworth the 2-0 lead, assisted  by Kal Barrett.

At the end of the 1st Half, Ellsworth led 2-0. The teams decided to just take a 5 minute halftime given the rain and the conditions.

Caribou scored their lone goal with just 1:22 elapsed to make the score 2-1.

But Ellsworth's Silas Montigny  put Ellsworth back up by 2, with a goal with 23:39 remaining.

Cruz Coffin scored with 16:26 left to make it 4-1.

Silas Montigny scored Ellsworth's final goal with 12:13 remaining.

Ellsworth is now 4-3-1

Caribou is 0-5

Ellsworth and Caribou meet again on Saturday afternoon, in Caribou.
