The Ellsworth Boys Soccer Team beat the Cony Rams 1-0 in Double Overtime on a cold, raw, windy afternoon at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth on Tuesday, October 26th in the Class B North Quarterfinals.

Ellsworth played with the wind at their back in the first half, and despite some excellent opportunities were not able to score.

In the 2nd Half, Cony had the wind at their backs and tested Ellsworth's keeper Craig Burnett.

The score at the end of regulation was 0-0.

Cony won the coin toss and for the 1st 15 minutes of overtime had the wind at their back. Both teams had a few opportunities, but Cony definitely carried the possession.

In the 2nd overtime, the game was scoreless until Tanner Seura took a rocket outside the box from the right side for the lone score with 7:42 left in double overtime.

Ellsworth, the #3 seed is now 11-4-1. Cony, who was the #6 seed, ends their season at 8-6-2.

Ellsworth will play the winner of the #2 Winslow - #7 Belfast quarterfinals.
