Ellsworth Boys Beat Hermon 7-0 as Coach Ensworth Wins 100th Career Game
The Ellsworth Boys' Soccer Team beat Hermon 7-0 on Tuesday, October 1st at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth. The win by the Eagles gave Coach Mark Ensworth his 100th career win. He has been the coach of the Eagles for 3 years.
Scoring for the Eagles were
- Kale Laslie 4 goals and 2 assists
- Kyle Kenny 2 goals and 2 assists
- Haven Cotroneo 1 goal and 2 assists
- Porter Merrill 1 assist
Cooper Mitchell and Jackson Barry combined for the shutout in goal. It was Ellsworth's 3rd shutout of the season.
In the JV game, Ellsworth beat Hermon 1-0, with Ellsworth's goal scored by Coleman Welch with 1 minute left to go in the game.
Dawson Easler and Cooper Miles combined for the shutout in goal.
Ellsworth is now 7-1 on the season and will travel to Aroostook County to play the Presque Isle Wildcats on Saturday, October 5th at 2 p.m.
Hermon is now 1-4-3 on the season and will host Old Town on Thursday, October 3rd at 6 p.m.
