Ellsworth Boys Beat Foxcroft Academy 48-36 [STATS]

The Ellsworth Boys' Basketball Team beat Foxcroft Academy 48-36 on Thursday night, December 12 at Katsiaficas Gymnasium.

Ellsworth led 13-8 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 19-12 at the end of the 1st Half. The Eagles led 34-26 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was led by Jackson Barry with 11 points while Brayden King and Dawson Curtis each finished with 10 points. The Eagles hit 4 3-pointers on the night, with King having 2 3's. Bryce Hart and Zach Bray each drained a 3-pointer. Ellsworth was 6-12 from the free throw line.

The Ponies were led by Silas Topolski with 8 points while Lucas Hands had 7 points. Foxcroft Academy had 4 3-pointers. Beckham Ade had 2 3's, and Topolski and Shane Birungi each had 1 3-pointer. The Ponies were 2-8 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth is now 2-0. They will play at Orono on Saturday, December 14th. That game will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA with the tip-off at 1:30 p.m. and pregame starting at 1:15. The game will also be broadcast on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device.

Foxcroft Academy is 0-1. They will travel to Aroostook County to play the Presque Isle Wildcats on Saturday, December 14th at 4:30 p.m.
