The Ellsworth Boys and Girls Basketball Teams will host the Mt. View Mustangs on Saturday January 7th. The Boys will play at 1 p.m. and the Girls will play immediately after, at approximately 2:30 p.m.

The Girl's game was originally scheduled for 4 p.m. but the Mt. View JV Girls Team is not playing, so the Varsity game was moved up to 2:30 p.m.

The Ellsworth Boys enter the day undefeated, with a 8-0 record, siting on top of the Class B North Heal Point Standings. Mt. View is currently in 7th place, with a 4-3 record.  The 2 teams met back on Saturday, December 10th, in the opening game of the season, with Ellsworth winning 78-61.

In that game Chance Mercier scored 37 points for the Eagles, while Wyatt Evensen had 21 points for the Mustangs. Both teams hit 6 3-pointers.

The Ellsworth Girls Basketball Team starts the day at 6-2 and in 4th place in the Class B North Heal Point Standings. Mt. View is in 12th place with a 2-5 record.

Ellsworth and Mt. View played in the 1st game of the 2023 season, in Thorndike, with the Eagles dominating, winning 89-16. In that game every Eagle scored with Elise Sargent, Morgan Clifford and Elizabeth Boles the leading scorers with 12 points each.

Both games will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and any Alexa enabled devices. The pregame will start at 12:45 p.m.
