Kaylee Bagley's 19 Points Leads Ellsworth To Victory Over Brewer

The Ellsworth Girl's Basketball Team beat the Brewer Witches 52-41 at Katsiaficas Gymnasium at Ellsworth High School on Friday, January 2nd.

Brewer jumped out to a 16-12 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter. But the Eagles outscored Brewer 19-5 in the 2nd Quarter to take a 31-21 lead at the Half. Ellsworth led 40-31 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was led by Kaylee Bagley who finished with 19 points. She had 4 3-pointers and was 7-10 from the free throw line. Sydney Mason had 10 points with a 3-pointer. Elizabeth Boles had 9 points with a 3-pointer. The Eagles were 16-23 from the free throw line.

Brewer was led by Madison O'Donnell who had 19 points, including 3 3-pointers. O'Donnell had 10 points in the 1st Quarter. Jillian Ford had 9 points with 3-pointer. Olivia Gilmore and Gabby Chasse each had 3-pointer. The Witches were 1-4 from the free throw line.

Brewer is now 1-7. They will host Old Town on Tuesday, January 6th at 6 p.m.
