The Ellsworth Eagles Baseball Team scored 11 runs in the 4th inning and  shutout the John Bapst Crusaders 14-0 on Tuesday, April 28th in Ellsworth. The game was stopped after 5 innings.

Dawson Curtis picked up the win for Ellsworth. He pitched 4.0 innings, allowing 3 hits. He struck out 8 and walked 3. Jackson Barry pitched the 5th inning, striking out 2.

Curtis helped himself at the plate, gong 4-4 with a double and driving in 4 runs.

Jackson Barry was 2-3 with a pair of runs batted in. Brayden Seckilich was 2-3. Joey Beal was 2-3 with a double and a run batted in. Zach Torrey was 1-3 with a double and run batted in. Gunner Vines had a single and drove in 3 runs. Evan Haskell, and Caleb Jordan each had a single.

Josh Pangburn, Abe Pendergast and Aiden Ouellette each singled for the Crusaders.

Ellsworth is now 2-0. They will play at Hermon on Thursday, April 30th at 4:30 p.m.

John Bapst is 1-1. They will play at Waterville on Friday, May 1st at 4 p.m.
