The Ellsworth Baseball Team beat the John Bapst Crusaders 10-0 in a mercy rule shortened game on Memorial Day, May 29th at Husson University.

Matt Burnett threw a 2 hit shutout for Ellsworth, striking out 8 and walking only 1 batter.

Ben Spear and Jack Dalton had John Bapst's lone hits, both singles.

For Ellsworth  Sam Giffin, Sam Horne, Matt Burnett and Devin Grindle each had 2 singles, while Brad Smith, Jack Hamilton, Chris Barnes and Austin Baron each singled once.

Ellsworth is now 11-4 with 1 game remaining, Senior Day, on Wednesday, May 31st when they play host to MDI at 3:45 PM.

John Bapst is 4-11 with 1 game remaing, Senior Day against Old Town on Wednesday, May 31st at 4:30 PM.
