
Ellsworth’s Ella Montgomery Concludes Her High School Career Being Named All-American in 100 Butterfly
Congratulations to Ellsworth High School's Ella Montgomery who was just named an All-American in the 100 Butterfly by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) with her time of 55.12
She earned this award for the time she achieved at the State Class B Swim Meet in February. :55.12. NISCA ranks the top 100 times and swimmers in the nation in each event. She was listed as 100th on the list.
Ella is the 2025 State Class B Champion in the 100 Fly, and 100 Back. She is the 2025 PVC Champion in the 50 Free and 100 Fly.
Ella was recognized as an All American Academic with a superb GPA as recognized by the National High School Coaches Association.
This past year she was listed on the PVC All Star Academic Team, and the State All Star Academic Team. She contributed her academic prowess to the Ellsworth High School Swim Team achieving the NISCA National Scholar Team designation with a combined team GPA of 3.714.
She was also awarded the 2025 Performer of the Meet at Girls Class B States, PVC Girl Swimmer of the Year, Maine State All State Team, PVC All Conference All Star Team, and Maine Interscholastic Swim League Swimmer of the Year.
Ella also achieved and holds six varsity EHS Swim Team records and is on the State Top 16 listing in 10 events ( seven individual and three relay events).
