EHS Wins Northern Maine Cheering For 1st Time Since 2013 MDI Advances to States

It was a very good day for both the Ellsworth and MDI Cheering Teams at the Northern Maine Regional Championships at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Saturday, January 26th!

Ellsworth won the Class B Northern Maine Cheering Championship for the fist time since 2013, knocking off Hermon.

As befitting champions they were escorted back to the High School

Thanks to Bridgette Shorey who captured their arrival at the High School

And MDI High School finished tied for 5th qualifying for the State Championships!

The State Cheering Championships will be held at the Augusta Civic Center on Saturday, February 9th!
