EHS Unified Nips MDI 79-76 [PHOTOS]

The MDI Unifed Basketball Team traveled to Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth on Monday afternoon, February 4th, and the Ellsworth team nipped MDI 79-76. MDI had a chance to tie the game at the buzzer, but their 3-point shot just missed.

MDI led 35-34 at the end of the 1st Half.

MDI was led by Nicholas Kadin with 22 points, while Spencer Rose had 20 points. Aaron Lichtenstein finished with 14 points and Isaac Philbrook had 10 points with 2 3's. Jacob Fallica had 4 points.

Ellsworth was led by Brandon Garland with a game high 27 points with a 3-pointer. Makayla Chase had 20 points and Abby Counter had 14 points. Robbie Walters had 8 points, Jacey Morse 6 points and Madison Gilley 4 points.

These 2 teams will meet on Wednesday, February 6th at 3:30 at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor. That will be then followed by an ice cream party hosted by the MDI High School Interact Club.
