EHS Jazz Band Wins Best Overall Jazz Band at Music In the Parks at Six Flags

The Ellsworth High School Jazz Band traveled to Springfield Massachusetts to compete in the Music in the Parks competition at Six Flags.

According to Band Director Jamie Calandro, not only did they take 1st place in the Class A Small Schools Division, but were later awarded 1st place for the Best Overall Jazz Band. This was for all 3 classes and the Ellsworth High School Jazz Band bested 11 other East Coast schools!
