EHS Golf Wins Sportsmanship Award

Congratulations to the Ellsworth Golf Team that won the Class B Northern Maine Sportsmanship Award for the 2019 Season.

The Team was presented with the award prior to the MDI-Ellsworth Girls soccer game on Thursday, October 10th. The award is voted on by the coaches of Class B North.

I've said it over and over again, and it bears repeating. Winning championships are great, but in the long run, winning the Sportsmanship Award tops even the biggest championship! How you play the game is way more important in the long run, than the ultimate outcome!
