EHS Girls Soccer Beats Old Town 2-1 in Season Opener

The Ellsworth Girls Varsity Soccer Team opened their 2018 season with a 2-1 victory over the Old Town Coyotes at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth on Thursday, August 30th.

Freshman Addi Laslie playing her first varsity game scored 2 goals for Ellsworth. Her 1st goal was scored with 1:05 remaining in the first half to give Ellsworth a 1-0 lead. Laslie scored her 2nd, with an assist from Sierra Andrews with 30:33 remaining in the 2nd half.

Hannah Richards scored for Old Town with 3:45 remaining in the game.

Kylie Robidoux was in goal for Ellsworth.

Ellsworth, 1-0 travels to Presque Isle on Saturday, September 1st,  to play the Wildcats at 1PM

Old Town, 0-1, plays host to Caribou, on Saturday, September 1st at 2PM.
