The Ellsworth Eagles Boy's Soccer Team lost their final regular season game on Senior Recognition Night 2-0 to the John Bapst Crusaders on Monday, October 17, 2016. It was the last regular season game for Reece Khan, Trent Mahon, Jack McKechnie, Trent Goodman, Christian Bamford, Wyatt Alexander and Colby Clarke

John Bapst took a 1-0 lead with 28 seconds left in the 1st Half when Paul Branch's shot found the back of the net.

The final goal was scored by Sean Adams with 5 minutes remaining to give the Crusaders the 2-0 win.

Both teams had 8 shots on goal

The Eagles finish the regular season under 1st year Coach Paul Lock with a 8-5-1 and will likely finish in 5th place in the Heal Point Standings, pending the final games to be played on Tuesday, October 18th. As the 5th place team, Ellsworth would play Foxcroft Academy in a prelim game tentatively scheduled for Friday, October 21st, in Ellsworth. Ellsworth beat Foxcroft Academy in the 2nd game of the season 4-0 in Dover-Foxcroft

The Crusaders finish the regular season with a 13-1 record and will finish the regular season in 1st place in the Heal Point Standings
