E-Rod Gets Lit Up, Sent Down [VIDEO]

Eduardo Rodriquez got lit up for nine runs in 2.2 innings, manager John Farrell held a team meeting after the game. This was not your typical 13-7 blowout loss by the Red Sox to Tampa Bay.

This one left scars.

E-Rod seemingly had nothing. Nine runs, 11 hits, a verbal tongue-lashing from Dustin Pedroia and a trip back to Triple-A when the night was done.

John Farrell's called the troops together after the game. The Sox have lost three in a row and six of their last eight games.

Meanwhile, the Rays snapped their 11-game losing streak. The Red Sox and the Rays play game 2 of the series Tuesday night with the pregame starting at 6:20 on AM 1370 WDEA.
