Because of the impending snowstorm, MDI has cancelled the public performance of "Orlando" scheduled for Saturday March 4th. You will have the opportunity to see it at the Downeast Regional of the Maine Drama Festival scheduled for March 10th and 11th at MDI High School.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5.00 for students and seniors. Tickets will be sold at the MDI High School Box Office before and during each session of shows. Doors open 30 minutes before the 1st performance of each session. No photography or video recordings and all mobile devices must be turned off.

Friday Evening Session March 10

  • Ellsworth High School 7 p.m. - "Maria Marie Antonia Antoinette Josepha Jiosephe Johnanna Jeanne: Cancel Cuture's Queen" by Georgia Willamina Zildjian
  • Deer Isle-Stonington High School 8 p.m. - "Bobby Wilson Can Eat His Own Face" by Don Zolidis
  • MDI High School  9 p.m. . - "Orlando by Virginia Woolf" adapted by Sarah Ruhl

Saturday Afternoon Session March 11

  • Hermon High School 12 noon - "Shuddersome: Tales of Poe" by Lindsay Price
  • Searsport High School 1 p.m. - "Paper or Plastic: The Ice Storm" by Werner Trieschmann
  • Edward Little High School 2 p.m. - "A Deep, Poetic Journey Into Something" by Forrest Musselman"

Saturday Evening Session March 11

  • Belfast High School 6 p.m. - "The Cave" by Tim Kelly
  • Bucksport High School 7 p.m. - "No Problem" by Brogan, Dawson, Fitzgerald, Howard, Hunt, Kofoed and Trussell

Ellsworth Hight School, Deer Isle-Stonigton, Searsport and Bucksport are all in Class B while MDI, Hermon, Edward Little and Belfast are in Class A
