Beth C Wright Cancer Resource Center’s Online Dessert Auction Closes Friday November 21st at 5 p.m.

Unfortunately we all know someone who has had, or who is battling cancer. As a two-time cancer survivor I can emphatically tell you that cancer SUCKS!

The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center in Ellsworth is a tremendous resource for patients and families in their cancer journey.

Right now they have a on-line dessert auction taking place that closes on Friday, November 21st at 5 p.m. Proceeds from the auction will go towards transportation/gas cards for patients and their families and the Home Cooked Healing Meal Program, which provides cancer patients and their families nutritious home-cooked meals.

Pies have been donated by Helen's Restaurant in Ellsworth and Robin Clark aka "The Pie Lady". You can bid on Graham Cracker Pies, Coconut Cream Pies, Chocolate Cream Pies, Toll House Pies, Apple Pies, Pecan Pies, and Pumpkin Pies. Starting bids are $25.00 per pie. There are also brownies, fudge and cookies available.

If you win an item, you should be prepared to pick it up at the Beth C. Wright Center , 23 Commerce Park in Ellsworth, between 9 and 5 p.m. on Tuesday November 25th.
