Deer Filmed Swimming Off Little Cranberry Island
Next thing you'll be telling us is that turkeys can fly.
Check out this video shot by Holly Masterson who was out lobster fishing earlier this week. It shows a deer swimming in the very cold ocean waters between Little Duck Island and Great Cranberry Island, off MDI.
The video was posted to the Friends of Acadia Facebook page.
We've seen videos of deer swimming before, but never realized that they could swim so far in such cold temperatures. Nature is truly amazing.
We hope that Miss Bambi made it to the island and found even better grazing grounds than she left behind, making a very strenuous trip worthwhile.
