Daniel Howie Makes History for Acadians in Senior League World Series
It wasn't the ending we were hoping for, as the Acadians lost to defending champions Troy Post 13-3 in the opening game of the American Legion World Series, but Daniel Howie made history!
Howie who graduated from Ellsworth High School in 2022 entered into the Army and is serving our country. He became the 1st player to play in the American Legion World Series while on active duty!
Congratulations Daniel, thank you for your continued service and best of luck today, as the Acadians play Game 2 against Cheyenne, Wyoming at 4p.m. Today's game is on ESPN3.
