Damariscotta Pumpkin Drop 2017 [VIDEO]

I have to put the Damariscotta Pumpkin Festival on my calendar for 2018! Held over Columbus Day (Indigenous People) Weekend, it features giant pumpkins, a pumpkin regatta, pumpkin parade, pumpkin slingshot and a giant pumpkin drop.

There's something about a half ton pumpkin being dropped into a pool from 180 feet up that just makes me want to watch!
