DaCorte Wins 3rd Consecutive NEWMAC Championship in the 500 Freestyle
Reigning New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Swimmer of the Year, Lydia DaCorte won her 3rd consecutive NEWMAC Championship in the 500 freestyle, with a time of 4:53.97 good enough for an NCAA B-Cut.
DaCorte, the former MDI Trojan, now in her 3rd year at Wheaton, was also part of the 800 free relay team that came in 2nd. She was also part of the 400 medley relay team finishing in second place after posting a time of 3:51.40, which was good enough for an NCAA B-Cut.
The NEWMAC Championships continue in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Saturday and Sunday, February 22nd and 23rd.
