Cook Impressive in 1st Cross Country Race for MMA

Former MDI Trojan Lily Cook ran her 1st collegiate race for Maine Maritime Academy on Saturday August 31st, competing in the University of Maine Presque Isle Invitational. MMA finished 2nd, placing 3 runners in the Top 10.

Cook was one of those runners, finishing 7th overall with a time of 26:06, 2nd on the Maine Maritime Academy Team. What was more impressive, was the fact that she did this after standing watch Midnight to 4AM

Maine Maritime Academy is back in action on Saturday, September 7th when they compete in the Northern Vermont University - Lyndon Invitational
