Tuesday is Halloween, and the weather is going to be delightful! It will be perfect for the rescheduled Conners Emerson Halloween Parade and for Trick-or-Treating!

First the weather! Tuesday during the day will be Sunny, with highs in the lower 40s. Tuesday night, for Trick-or-Treating will be Clear, but cold, with lows in the upper 20s.

Now for the Conners Emerson Halloween Parade. It was postponed on Friday, October 27th. It will now be held Halloween Day, stepping off at 1:45. It will go downtown from the School, to Main Street and then onto Cottage Street before returning to School.

For those Trick-or-Treating, you know that Ledgelawn Avenue is Halloween Central on Mount Desert Island. Through the generosity of Islanders, 42 houses on Ledgelawn are receiving  between 150-200 donated pieces of candy to pass out to little ghouls and goblins. The Bar Harbor Police Department has informed us that Ledgelawn will be closed to vehicular traffic between 3:30 and 8:30 p.m. If you are out driving be careful of all the little trick-or-treaters who may in their excitement be dashing about and not looking both ways before running across the street!
