Conners-Emerson Boys Beat Hancock 49-29 for Coastal League Championship

The Conners-Emerson Boys Middle School Basketball Team defeated Hancock Grammar School 49-29 at MDI High School on Saturday, February 9th to win the Coastal League Championship.

Hancock Grammar School was previously unbeaten, and had beaten Connors-Emerson twice previously. Connors Emerson finishes the season with a 12-2 record, while Hancock Elementary finishes at 13-1.

The Connors-Emerson Team was coached by Tom James and Eric Ankrom. The team consists of 8th graders - Evan Ankrom, Aiden Grant, Alex Gray, Walker St. Germain, Kadin Reed, Ethan Sosa, Austin Lozano, Isaac MacDonnell and Sam Sinclair;  7th graders - Spencer Laurendeau, Jacob Shields and Joey Wellman-Clouse; and  6th grader- Cal Hodgden.
