Common Good Soup Kitchen Desperately Needs Friday Drivers

Do you have a couple of hours to spare on Fridays? The Common Good Soup Kitchen, located at 19 Clark Point Road (Post Office Complex) in Southwest Harbor desperately needs drivers to deliver food boxes and soups to Island residents!

Every Wednesday volunteers gather to make their delicious home-made soups and then on Fridays to prepare boxes that contain fruit, soup, vegetables, and 3-4 days worth of meals.

Delivery routes typically run from 1 to 2:30 pm. on Fridays, Right now the demand for food is far greater than the capacity to deliver! They need 3 to 5 drivers!

They also need volunteers Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated.
