It was quite a 1st year for former Ellsworth Eagle, and now Husson University Eagle, Ellie Clarke as she finished her season swimming for Husson.

Swimming in the 2020 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championship at the University of Rhode Island this past weekend, Clarke placed sixth in the 50 Back (28.70) to become the first rookie in program history to earn 2 All-New England honors in a single NEISDA Championship Meet and just the second student-athlete in Husson University's Women's Swim and Dive history to accomplish this feat.  On Saturday, February 15th she finished 5th in the 100 Back (1:01.48) to become the first rookie in program history to All-New England honors. Her performance added 24 points to Husson's overall point total. Clarke also wiped out the program's NEISDA Championship meet record for the most points scored by a first-year student-athlete with 62 points.
