My wife and I have a family tradition at Christmas time. We give our 2 sons, Craig and Collin a special Christmas ornament, one that hopefully represents something significant that happened in their life in that specific year.

When we found this, we knew that we'd have to give them this in 2020! Wearing a mask, with a bottle off hand sanitizer and a roll of toilet paper, which was the currency of choice in March and April pretty much sums up 2020! Remember searching high and low for toilet paper in the Spring?

If you're looking to start a family tradition, I would certainly encourage you to start giving a Christmas Ornament to your children! We started it when they were both 6 or 7 years old. Now that they are 30 and 29 they have a box full of personalized ornaments that they can look back on. Hopefully as they hang them on their own trees, they will look back on them, think of their parents fondly and remember the "good old days"
