Approximately 60 students from Conners Emerson School in Bar Harbor participated in the National Walk Out for Students Against Gun Violence.at 12 Noon on Wednesday, April 5th.

Approximately 60 students participated in the National Walk Out for Students Against Gun Violence at the Conners Emerson School in Bar Harbor on April 5th
According to the website Education Week there have been 157 school shootings since 2018. As of March 27 there had been 13 shootings in the United States in 2023. There were 51 shootings in 2022, 35 shootings in 2021, 10 in 2020 and 24 in each of 2019 and 2018. (Most schools were locked down/remote in 2020 because of COVID)
