Ellsworth Girls Beat Caribou 55-29 [STATS]

The Ellsworth Girl's Basketball Team beat Caribou 55-29 on Saturday afternoon, December 6th in Ellsworth to start the 2025-26 season for both teams.

Ellsworth jumped out to a 13-6 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter and extended the lead to 26-13 at the end of the 1st Half. The Eagles led the Viking 39-25 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth had 4 players in double figures. Kaylee Bagley had 17 points  to lead all scorers, with 3 3-pointers and a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line. Elizabeth Boles had 14 points. Sydney Mason had 12 points with 2 3-pooiinters and Austyn Atherton had 10 points with 2 3-pointers. The Eagles were 6-8 from the free throw line.

Caribou was led by Quinn Corrigan with 12 points, including 2 3-pointers. Carly Levesque had a 3-pointer. The Vikings were 4-12 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth is now 1-0. They will play at Brewer on Tuesday, December 9th at 5 p.m. That game will be broadcast on WDEA AM 1370, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our Free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device.

Caribou is 0-1. They will play at Fort Kent against the Warriors on Wednesday, December 10th at 5 p.m.
