Candage Starts and Scores in 1st Collegiate Game for MMA

Former MDI Trojan Maddy Candage is a first year student at Maine Maritime Academy and on Saturday, November 9th played her first collegiate basketball game.

Candage started and scored 4 points going 2 for 2 from the field. She had 1 rebound in 17 minutes.

Also playing was former Ellsworth Eagle Samantha Mason who had 2 points in 10 minutes. She had 2 rebounds.

MMA lost to Wheaton 79-73. The Mariners return to the court  Sunday afternoon November 10th at home when they take on UMass.-Boston in the final day of the Maine Maritime Tip-Off
