The Bucksport Girls' Soccer Team defeated MDI 3-2 on Thursday, October 3rd.

Bucksport started off scoring in the 1st half with a goal from Addison Goss unassisted  at 32:09.
The score remained 1-0 going into the 2nd Half.
Bucksport made it 2-0  at 34:49 with Haley Rose crossing the ball to Alivia Shute for the goal.
MDI answered at 36:41 with a breakaway goal from Erin Hollis, with the assist from Katie Dow.
MDI scores again with a direct kick taken by Erin Hollis again at 24:35. That evened the score at 2-2.
Bucksport scored the game winning goal at 21:47 The winning goal started with a corner kick taken by Addison Goss, which went to Ruby Pereira who passed the ball back to Rowan Jergenson who scored the game-winner.
Bucksport played two goalies:Addison Fitch had 2 saves on 4 shots and Brooke Elden had 2 saves on 1 shot  MDI's goalie Gwen Stager had 13 saves on 21 shots

The Trojans are 0-7 and will host John Bapst on Saturday, October 5th at 12 noon.

Bucksport is now 9-0 and will visit Central next, on October 8th.
