Bucksport Boys Beat Sumner 81-34 [STATS]

The Bucksport Boys Basketball Team was too much for the Sumner Tigers, beating them 81-34 on Tuesday, December 5th in the team's final preseason game in Bucksport

Bucksport led 35-7 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 49-16 at the end of the 1st Half. The Golden Bucks were up 67-23 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

The Golden Bucks were le by Evan Donnell with 14 points. Collin McDougal had 13 points. Bucksport sank 3 3-pointers on the night. Daynen Stewart, Evan Donnell and Aaron Ramirez each had a 3-pointer. Bucksport was 4-10 from the free throw line.

Sumner was led by Bryson Parritt with 11 points while Conner Eastman had 10 points. Parritt had a 3-pointer and Eastman had 2 3's for Sumner. The Tigers were 3-8 from the free throw line.

Bucksport opens the regular season on Friday, December 8th against Ellsworth with a tipoff at 7 p.m. That game will be broadcast on AM 1370, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device.

Sumner will host Machias on Saturday, December 9th at 3 p.m.
