The Brookside Restaurant gives culinary students at HCTC much needed practical experience. Normally students take turn preparing and serving the meal, so they receive "front" and "back" of the house experience. With COVID, now they're learning how to adapt on the fly.

The Menu for Wednesday, March 24th offers 2 choices. The first is  the Brookside's Famous Taco Salad for $8.00 per meal. It is served with a Fried Tortilla Shell, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Scallions, Ground Beef, Refried Beans, Shredded Cheddar, Sour Cream, Taco Sauce and New York Style Cheesecake with a Blueberry Drizzle. The other choice is Roast Pork Loin with Robert Sauce for $9.00 per meal. this is served with Scalloped Potatoes, Cole Slaw, Yeast Roll and New York Style Cheesecake with a Blueberry Drizzle.

Extra orders of the New York Style Cheesecake with a Blueberry Drizzle are available for $2.50

To order, please click HERE. You have a choice of pick-up times every 15 minutes from 12 Noon through 1:30 p.m. Deadline to order is Tuesday, March 23rd at 11 a.m.
