The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office and Maine State Police issued a joint statement today regarding the arrest of three males in connection with two armed robberies and one attempted robbery.

The men are being charged in connection with the armed robbery at the Check-Out Market in Glenburn on September 8th, a home invasion armed robbery on Center Drive in Orrington, and an attempted armed robbery at Bob's Kozy Korner Store in Orrington, both on September 9th.

A task force comprised of investigators from the Maine State Police Troop E and the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office has worked cooperatively since the robberies occured.

The men were arrested on September 25th. So far, no names have been released. Sheriff Glenn Ross says more details will be available on Friday afternoon.
