The Boston Red Sox beat the Cincinnati Reds 5-3 on Wednesday afternoon, completing Tuesday night's suspended game.

Brayan Bello took the mound with the Red Sox leading 2-1 when the game was resumed in the top of the 4th inning on Wednesday afternoon. He allowed a walk and a 2-run homer as the Reds took a 3-2 lead. But, he then settled down and didn't allow a hit. He ended up striking out 3, walking 1 and hitting 2 batters picking up the win. Bello is now 4-3.

Aroldis Chapman pitched the 9th inning, striking out 1 and picking up his 15th save of the season.

Wilyer Abreu was 2-3 and hit a go-ahead RBI single in the 8th inning.

Abraham Toro doubled and scored in the 6th inning, finishing 2-4.

Carlos Narvaez tied the game in the 6th inning with a sacrifice fly, driving in Toro.

Boston is now 43-44 and have won 3 of their last 4 games following a season-long 6 game losing streak.

The Red Sox and Reds will play the regularly scheduled game on Wednesday night, with the pregame starting at 6:10 and first pitch at 7:10 on WDEA AM 1370.
