The Boston Red Sox beat the Los Angeles Dodgers Saturday night, July 26th at Fenway Park as Garrett Crochet struck out 10 and Jarren Duran tripled twice.

Crochet allowed a pair of solo homers in the 1st inning, to Shohei Ohtani, his 38th of the season, to lead off the game, and then to Teoscar Hernandez, 1 batter later. But he settled down, and went 6.0 innings allowing just the 2 runs on 8 hits, striking out 10 and walking 2. He picked up the win and is now 12-4 on the season.

Justin Wilson pitched the 7th inning, striking out 2. Garret Whitlock pitched the 8th striking out 2 and Aroldis Chapman pitched the 9th, striking out and walking 1, to pick up his 18th save of the season.

Jarren Duran hit a 2-run triple in the 2nd inning to tie the game at 2-2, and then tripled in the 6th inning and doubled in the 8th inning, to finish the night 3-4. Duran became the 1st Red Sox player with 2 triples in a game since Mookie Betts did it on July 13, 2018.

Roman Anthony was 2-2 with a double and RBI, walking twice.

Alex Bregman was 3-4, with 3 singles.
