Tolle pitched 6.0 innings striking out 11, walking 1 and allowed 3 hits and 1 run. a solo homer in the 5th inning.  He retired the 1st 5 batters he faced, via a strikeout. Tolle loaded the bases in the 4th inning without an out, but retired the next 3 batters to escape the inning.

Carlos Narvaez hit a solo homer in the 5th inning to give Boston a 2-1 lead. It was his 1st homer of the season, and Boston's first homer in the last 3 games.

Marcelo Mayer was 1-3 with a double, driving in Boston's 1st run.

The Red Sox bats remain in a slump, as they only managed 4 hits in the game.
