Red Sox Fall to Phillies 2-1 [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox fell to the Philadelphia Phillies 2-1 on Tuesday night, May 12th at Fenway Park. Former Red Sox player Kyle Schwarber hit his 17th homer and has homered in 5 straight games for the Phillies and Don Mattingly won his 900th career game as manager.

Jovani Moran started the game for the Red Sox allowing 1 hit and 1 run, striking out 2. Brayan Bello came on and went 6.1 innings allowing 4 hits and 1 run, striking out 5. Tyler Samaniego recorded the final 2 outs in the 8th inning, striking out and walking 1. Zack Kelly pitched the 9th.

Ceddanne Rafaela was 1-4 with a run batted in, driving in Boston's lone run in the 7th inning.

Mickey Gasper was 1-4, scoring Boston's run.

Masataka Yoshida was 1-3.

Jarren Duran was 0-4 reaching on a fielder's choice and stole 2nd base, his 100th career steal.
