Black Rose Showcase TONIGHT at MDI High School

Tonight at MDI High School there will be a combination of film, theater and music sure to showcase the artistic students of MDI High School students.The Black Rose Showcase takes place tonight, Wednesday March 22nd at 7 PM at the Higgins-Demas Theater.

Performing tonight are 4 jazz combos, "Chainsauce", "Richard", "Funky Dow" and "Silent Oxen". The award winning films by Emma Forthofer "Colors" which won the Golden Lighthouse this past weekend for best short film and Teddy Geary's "A Day in the Park" which won honorable mention in the documentary category will be shown. Plus the One Act Play, "The Insanity of Mary Girard" will be performed. The play won the Eastern Regional of the Maine Drama Festival

Admission is by donation, with all money going to the Black Rose Theater Renovation Fund in celebration of the life of Ashleigh Littlefield Class of 2009.
