Bar Harbor’s Cottage Street to be Partially Closed June 14-15 [UPDATED]

Updated - Motorists and pedestrians driving and walking in Bar Harbor should be aware that about half of Cottage Street will be closed on Tuesday June 14th and part of Wednesday June 15th. The rain has pushed the project back a day. It will no longer start on Monday June 13th

The Bar Harbor Public Work's Department will be making a planned emergency infrastructure repair on the sewer line at 6 Cottage Street.

Work will begin early morning, Monday June 13th and Cottage Street will be closed from Main Street to Rodick Street.

In addition to the road being closed, the sidewalk in the immediate area will be closed.

The work is expected to last up to 2 days.

Traffic detours will be in place. Businesses expecting deliveries should coordinate with the contractor.
