Bar Harbor Shore Path Restoration Donations will Be Doubled Up to $30,000
If you have donated to the Bar Harbor Shore Path Restoration Project thank you! If you haven't or want to make another donation, now's the perfect time as the next $30,000 donations will be doubled thanks to a very generous donor.
With the Shore Path along the Bar Harbor Inn completed and open to the public, restoration efforts have moved to the Path's opposite end with structural work now complete and fill work to happen next. Crews will continue as long as the weather holds out, with plans to finish this second long stretch before the winter comes. The final and most difficult section, Grant Park to Hancock Street, is planned for the early spring of 2025. This stretch is challenging to access and the scope of work is significant, but the hope is for the Shore Path to open in full sometime in the Spring 2025.
Your Chance to Double Your Impact
Every dollar you donate today will be matched—up to $30,000, thanks to the generosity of Ruth M. Colket. That means your gift will have double the impact, bringing the Village Improvement Association even closer to fully restoring this iconic path. Costs for this project have exceeded projections and your support will allow for finalizing this extraordinary undertaking and provide funds for future maintenance.
