Bar Harbor Hannaford Recalls Ground Beef

According to a release from WABI-TV, the Hannaford Supermarket in Bar Harbor has recalled some of their ground beef, due to some soft plastic that had been accidentally mixed in with the beef, rendering it unsafe to eat.

Specifically, it was 80% fresh ground beef sold on March 2nd, with a sell by date of March 3rd. No other information was offered about other batches of ground beef, but presumably it was limited just to this batch. No illnesses have been reported due to the bad beef.

If you do have some of the ground beef in question, it can be brought back to the Bar Harbor Hannaford for a full refund.
