Saturday was a fantastic day at the Bar Harbor Historical Society for the 5th Annual Gingerbread Contest!

There were a total of 13 entries as bakers competed for cash prizes! Over 200 people came through LaRochelle to tour the Bar Harbor Historical Society and to see all the entries!

The judges Grand Prize of $500 was awarded to Kristin Hutchins

The Judges Kids Prize of $250 was awarded to the Tremont Middle School. There were 10 houses in this group entry!

Then it came down to the Community Favorite, voted on by all the attendees. This year there was a tie! Rather than splitting the $250 prize, The Swan Agency awarded each winner $250! What a great Christmas gift!
