According to a press release Gifts through our Casual for a Cause program make a significant impact in our communities.  Our collective support enhances local programming, leading to a better quality of life for all community members,” said Jack Frost, VP, Director of Community Giving at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.  “By simply wearing jeans or less formal business attire on Friday and contributing to Casual for a Cause, our employees are making a big difference in the communities they serve.”

Hancock County Technical Center is hosting their first annual Career Exploration Middle School Camp, August 19-23, 2019.  The Camp allows for hands-on discovery, where students will explore pathways, programs and career choices as well as gain skills and knowledge in different career clusters, financial literacy, and workplace readiness.  HCTC provides industrial certification and college credits to area youth, preparing them for the workforce and post-secondary education. Their mission is to engage students with rigorous and relevant career and technical education for success in the post-secondary and industrial world.
